How to Build Buzz on TwitterBrief Description

So you’ve made the brave (and wise) decision to crowdfund your business, book, event, project, or social cause.  Now what?  You know that you need to have a social media platform presence but what does that really mean?  This course will help you quickly and effectively use Twitter for crowdfunding success.

In this course Kate Fitzpatrick will provide you with an excellent structure for how to spend your time on Twitter in order to create buzz around your crowdfunding campaign without getting overwhelmed or sucked into the black hole of social media.

Kate will start with a simple intro and overview to Twitter.

She then will cover all the necessary prep work to build your following before your campaign launches, and then breaks down how you should be promoting your campaign and driving traffic to your campaign page once you’re live.

Many people just push content on social media, but crowdfunding requires an extra level of finesse if you want people to truly connect to your campaign and click through to your campaign page where they can then comment, share and ultimately donate.

Why should I take this class?

Kate’s specialty is simplifying social media for busy entrepreneurs – and crowdfunders certainly fit into this category!

We’ve all been overwhelmed by social media at one point or another, and Kate understand the fear of wasting precious time. But you can’t expect to run a successful campaign without a presence on Twitter. A basic understanding of Twitter is crucial to today’s crowdfunding campaigns. While many of your donations will come from personal friends and family, it is essential to promote your campaign effectively on Twitter because this platform, more than others, brings people together based on shared interests. If you’ve heard how effective Twitter can be for marketing your crowdfunding campaign and spreading the word about your mission in the world, but have no idea how to harness this powerful vehicle, this is the course for you.

After this course, you’ll feel much more comfortable promoting your crowdfunding campaign on Twitter. With over a billion registered users and one hundred million daily users, Twitter is the ultimate word-of-mouth machine that can bring big exposure and donors to your campaign if utilized correctly.

Kate will take you from overwhelmed to empowered in just fourteen minutes a day!

Course includes:

I love my role as an independent communications consultant, providing strategic social media services and public relations support to small businesses. My passion is coaching women business owners to be more efficient and effective on social media with my virtual training series, “How To Build Your Business on Social Media in 14 Minutes a Day.”

After developing a diverse set of public relations and editorial skills in the international magazine publishing industry, I was motivated by my passion for health and wellness to transition into the non-profit world. Over several years, I honed my public relations, website management and social media skills at the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer & AIDS Research. Driven to help small businesses find success in an increasingly competitive industry, I then leveraged this experience to launch Kate Fitzpatrick Consulting, using my love of social media to give a voice to entrepreneurs looking to bring their messages to the masses. My first venture in the crowdfunding space was providing social media support to Patty Lennon’s “Let’s Fund the Mom Gets a Business Conference” campaign on IndieGogo, which was 125% funded in thirty days: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/let-s-fund-the-mom-gets-a-business-conference
