Back to School. Back to Work.

If you’ve entered a Target in the last month or simply just watched TV, you are acutely aware that school is back in session.

Here in Portland, the schools reopened yesterday. Wow!

Even though I’m not the one in our family heading back to school, I still get giddy looking at all the cool supplies available. So many more colorful options this year!

I have to hold myself back from making a huge dent in the ol’ Target Red Card.

I get super excited because it feels like the new school year is a more productive and realistic time to make changes and resolutions.

It feels like a time to start anew (without the pressure of the New Year)
A time to reevaluate where you’ve been
A great time to notice how you might have picked up some bad habits and how to refine good ones.

If you break your year into quarters or into 90 day projects, this is the time to get planning!

But planning doesn’t need to be so crazy complicated or overwhelming.

You can make a lot happen if you keep focused and clear.

Here are some questions we’re working with as we scheme and dream the next 3 months:
  • What one big project do you want to complete by the end of the year?
  • How do you want to feel while you’re working on that project?
  • How do you want to feel when you’re done with that project?
  • What one new habit would you like to introduce into your life that (this time) will stick?
  • What one person would you like to connect with?
  • What one thing do I want to learn or get more comfortable with?
  • What’s your revenue target? How many ___ do you have to sell to accomplish that goal?
  • What one super fun ME activity will you finally do to replenish, recharge and re-ignite?
  • What will you do to make a {real} difference in the lives of your audience within the next 90 days?

Have fun with this. Go to a craft store, pull out your markers and colored pencils, buy a huge wall calendar and get out the colored post-it notes.

Share with us below what one big (maybe even audacious) goal you have for the next 3 months?

We would love to support you.
