What do you desire out of your business?
I’ve been pondering this for years and only recently have been articulating it in a way that feels right for me, my priorities, my bigger purpose and my family.
It sometimes takes time.
There are many factors to consider when you think about your business. We often focus on all the details, tactics, goals and tangible pieces. We often don’t stop to ask ourselves why the hell we are doing this when often a traditional job would be much easier. 
Here are a few aspects to ponder as we start Day 3 in our series on 5 questions to ask yourself this Spring.

Sustainability
What income goals do you have?
How did you come to these numbers?
Are they enough?
And, are you meeting them?
Service
Is the work you’re doing of service to your community and the world?
Service doesn’t only mean philanthropic or a deep-spiritually meaningful purpose.(Cool, if it does).
Are you providing real, honest-to-goodness “value” to the people you serve?
Showing Up
How do you want to show up for your business?
Are you showing up in a way that is aligned with your values and who you are?
Are you dialing it in?
Are you holding back?
Are you presenting a facade or persona, pretending to be someone else?
Soul
What do you really want to get out it?
Not just financial but the soul-fueled goodness.
For many of us we started a business to fulfill something deeper. It might have been to create freedom so we can be home for our kids more and be present in those precious years of childhood. It could be to express our creativity in ways we just couldn’t in a traditional job. Perhaps it was to have the flexibility to live anywhere and work with the people who we really want to work with. You may have a calling to express yourself in a certain way.
So what is it that you desire most out of and from your business?
AND, are you hitting this mark?
Have you gotten off track with the busy-ness of life and the distractions of running a business or you fully on the path?
I know! These are some deep questions.
However, it pays to take a few minutes every once in awhile and explore!
You never know what juicy goodness will come out of it.
